General Data Protection Regulation

The privacy of your personal data is important to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of statutory provisions (GDPR and Austrian Telecommunications Act, TKG, 2003). This privacy policy is to inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.

Data storage on the web server

When you visit our website, the web server automatically saves data such as your IP address (i.e. the ID number of your PC or mobile phone, etc.), the addresses of the sites you visit, details of your browser, and the date and time. We do not use these data, and neither do we disclose them to third parties. However, your data may be accessed in the event of illegitimate conduct.

Contacting us

If you contact us through a form on the website or by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored with us for six months for the purpose of processing your enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. These data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent.

Our website uses cookies. These are small text files which are saved to your device via your browser. They do not harm your computer.

We use cookies to make our website more user-friendly. Some cookies, which remain on your device until you delete them, allow us to recognise your browser next time you visit our website.

If you do not want this to happen, you can configure your browser to inform you of the use of cookies, so that you only accept cookies on a case-by-case basis.

If you refuse to accept cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

Web analysis

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Cookies are used for this purpose, making it possible to analyse the way in which users use our website. The information generated in this way is transferred to the server of the service provider and stored there.

You can disable data processing by Google Analytics by setting your browser so that no cookies are stored.

You can also use a browser add-on that prevents the use of Google Analytics:

Data Processing Amendment

Data processing is carried out as stipulated by the Austrian Telecommunications Act (TKG), Section 96 (3), and the GDPR, Article 6 (1a) (consent) and/or Article 6 (1f) (legitimate interests).

The matter that concerns us with regard to the GDPR (legitimate interests) is the improvement of our offer and our website.

We have concluded a direct customer contract with Google on the use of Google Analytics by accepting the “Data Processing Amendment” in Google Analytics. More about the Google Analytics Data Processing Amendment can be found here:

Erasure of data

Google Analytics data are erased after 14 months.
